Can full grown dogs eat puppy food?

With all the different brands of dog food out there, and different types of food to feed your furry friend. Why not just feed them puppy food and stick with it forever.
If we have to talk about brands and types, it would be a long and controversial topic. so let focus on “why not puppy food all the way?” Where there are a few problems that may arise.:
SIZE
Size of puppy food and adult food for the same breed will definitely come in a different size. For puppies biting into larger than normal kibble may become a difficult task for your tiny little puppy. But things may get a little more serious on the other end. When full grown doggies gobble the tiny kibbles, this creates the risk of them chocking. When choosing the right dog food for your four-legged friend, you must consider what size fits them best.
2. Nutrients
Nutrients is always one of the top things, doggie parents should pay attention to. The fat and protein content in puppy food is substantially higher than adult food. The reason for puppy food to contain more fat and protein is to support the rapid growth at puppy stage. The fat acts as a fuel to support the growth stage, much like water for a seed. While the protein helps building tissue and cell division processes. What are the down side of full grown dogs eating puppy food? Adults do not need as much energy for growth and repair. And as we all know, if fat is not used, it stores in our bodies. Fats in doggies work in a similar mechanism. As for protein, if they are not used, the amino acids ( components of protein) are broken down to 2 major parts,: Amino group and Carboxyl group. The amino group would go straight to the bladder while the carboxyl group will form glycogen in the liver.
All in all, puppies should eat puppy food and full grown doggies should eat adult food. The risk we put them at by supplying the wrong stage of food may result in greater danger than you think.
